Molly's Milk

While there are many similarities between Miss Molly and myself, I have discovered that there are just as many differences. For instance, Molly was drinking Soy milk yesterday in class and I hate Soy milk. Our tastes in music, clothes and food are so different that you might wonder how we are friends. And- in attempt to stray away from the annoyingly corny things I could say about friendships- I think that friends can be found where you least expect them.

I live in an apartment with ten girls that all get along great. We are all extremely unique. We disagree on politics, religion, what clothes look good, what foods to eat, and how to deal with boys. People think that its insane that we all live together, but I wouldn't have it any other way. No one cares about what the other is wearing, or who they're going to vote for in the election. What matters to us is that we can all hangout together and have a great time. We sit on the couch for hours talking about nothing, laughing until it hurts.

My point is that friends can be made everywhere. You don't have to be similar, or even like any of the same things. If you can find someone that you enjoy spending time with that you can trust, then nothing else matters. That is why Molly and I get along so well. While we have different interests, all we really want is to have a good time and share a few laughs together.

And not drink Soy milk.

Redhead Overload

Redheads are rare.
In the past, I've had few friends who were natural redheads and never really knew anyone else with my color hair. That was until I came to Marquette and met my match, Molly Gamble. Although her hair is much darker than mine, I find the similarities between us to be eerie. We are both huge White Sox fans, we are in all of the same classes at Marquette, we both write for the Marquette Tribune, and she lives a block away from me. As if that wasn't enough, we then discovered that we were born on the same day at around the same time.
I find it strange that after never having a redhead friend in the past, I now have a twin.
